Camman Lighting helped preserve the timeless character of the Washington County Courthouse, known as “The People’s Palace,” with new exterior LED wall sconces designed to complement its historic Beaux-Arts architecture. Originally opened in 1900 and designed by architect Frederick J. Osterling, the courthouse features grand pillars and an ornate façade that reflect its architectural significance. Finished in a custom powder-coated patina, the new sconces deliver modern LED performance while maintaining a finish and aesthetic that feel at home alongside the building’s historic details. The result is a thoughtful balance of preservation and modernization, ensuring this landmark continues to make a lasting impression.
